When can I expect to be confirmed for the Exchange Request that I have placed with SFX? 

Our database will alert an agent to contact you as soon as the week you have requested is deposited into our Vacation Bank by another SFX Member. In general, members get confirmed approximately 4-6 months in advance of their travel dates. To achieve the most success, your SFX Vacation Exchange Request should have at least three alternative travel dates (weeks). It should also ideally have three alternative locations.
Even if you place your Exchange Request online it’s always a good idea to call one of our Vacation Exchange Specialists. They can help you understand about the availability of the location and season you have requested and suggest some great ideas on another 2 or 3 choices to put on your Exchange Request.
 
Why do I have to put in an Exchange Request so far in advance? 

Placing your Vacation Exchange Request 8 to 12 months in advance yields better results for obtaining the vacation closest to the choices you have requested. High-demand locations and prime seasons could have many members that may be looking for the exact same vacation slot. Placing your request early gives you a better chance of getting confirmed first.  Planning further in advance also allows more time for that special week you might be looking for to be deposited by another member.

Here are some basic tips when placing your Exchange Request:

Submit your request at least 8 to 12 months in advance

What are the benefits of my SFX Bonus Week?

Redeeming a Bonus Week is optional and members are not required to pay any fees unless confirmed for travel. Approximate Retail Value of the accommodations available for booking with an SFX Bonus Week is $1,300 – $3,200.  SFX Bonus Week Member pricing ranges from $169 – $899 which translates into fantastic savings for our members.*
